Spartans for New Patriotic Party, led by their National President Mr. Frederick Green, took their visitation tour to the Ashanti Region on Friday the 12th February, 2021, after last week’s visit to the Eastern Region, precisely, Koforidua. This forms part of the big project that seeks to motivates NPP youths across the country and to establish branches of the association at these areas. So far, the group has visited and established their branches at two regions namely Central Region at Ekumfi Otuam and the Eastern Region at Koforidua.
The team’s visit to Ashanti Region began on an active preparations and with support from the interim leadership of the association in the Ashanti Region. The first program was held on Saturday 13th February, 2021 at the Kumasi Cultural Centre behind Apatakese3m Jazz Club with quite a good attendance. After that, the team went to Old Tafo Zongo, were they met party members and some leaders of that community for some discussions.
The discourse traveled late in the evening so the team then went to their residence to have some rest for the following day.
On the sunday the 14th of February, 2021, the tour train landed at Aburaso Methodist Primary School to meet some Spartan members and other party faithfuls who had gathered there to welcome the team.
The program started around 1pm and ended somewhere in the evening around 6pm. Just as other places, the team held discussions and deliberations with the attendees on numerous topics which borders on strengthening the party and building a formidable human resources going into the future.
At all places visited, the team led by their National President Frederick Green, donated customised Spartans T-Shirts, Nose masks and kids face shields. They also use the occasion to advised the gathering on the need to follow and observe all safety protocols against the Covid-19 pandemic. The team came back to Accra on Monday 15th February, 2021.
